Nico Verdonck will return to the ADAC GT Masters Championship, for the finale race at Hockenheim this weekend

Earlier this week Nico was asked to strengthen car #49 for the final ADAC GT Masters round, together with his compatriot Enzo Ide, who has been racing with Phoenix on the R8 the entire season in Blancpain Endurance Series and FIA-GT.

For Nico it will be his debut on the Audi R8GT3 of Phoenix Racing, that has had many successes in the past and today.
“I’m delighted and also very priveliged that a well know and professional team like Phoenix Racing, asked me to support Enzo Ide, who is a good friend of mine. Knowing the series, tyres and my performances earlier this year with Lambda Performance on the FordGT, where we had a win at Spa. I believe we have a good chance for a decent result. I’m really looking forward to this challenge and would like to thank Phoenix Racing and Enzo Ide for their confidence. Now it’s up to us, to have a successful weekend.”
